The Ultimate grip’s shape immediately caught my eye. Unlike traditional grips I’ve used in the past or the arm lock grip in my bag, this grip has three flat sides. Garsen says this allows your palms to face each other and have your wrists in a neutral place when you line up for a birdie attempt.
The ultimate grip branding is sleek and simple. A Garsen and Ultimate logo ordain the side and front of the grip. Nothing too flashy, but with colors of black, blue, red or lime green there is a choice to keep it conservative or bold. I went with the lime green, but to each their own. The detailing in the grip’s traction pattern was also a nice touch. The green and blue grips have small Gs throughout. Maybe it stands for Golf? Or Garesn? Hard to say, but probably the former."
